Maria's Pasta is a family run business that has been operating for 37 years. Located in vibrant North Fitzroy, we are right on the tram line and work in a light filled building. The team is small and happy, like you would expect from a family business. The Role

We are looking for that special person to lead our team of happy Pasta Makers, there are 5-7 staff on deck on any day. Each day there are orders to fill with assorted pasta and sauces to make for our nearly 200 loyal business customers who love our products. This is a job for someone who loves a challenge and a win each and every day by ensuring production is humming along on schedule, our supplies are up to date and is already planning the next day.

• Ideally, you will have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in the food industry and preferably as a pasta maker. Ability to follow recipes, understand HACCP processes and worked in a manufacturing environment.

Tasks & responsibilities

• Each day involves creating traditional fresh hand rolled pasta, assorted filled pasta & other hand made pasta products. The role will be ensuring that the team reaches its daily targets of making fillings, rolling pasta and packing pasta, as well as a variety of sauces for our much-loved customers. And of course, a good clean at the end of the day so the next day starts with a fresh slate.
